Vernon William Miller

	Vernon William Miller, 71, of Cutler, passed away at 9:30 a.m. Friday, November 22, 2002 at Memorial Hospital in Belleville.
	Mr. Miller was retired from the Air Force, having attained the rank of Master Sergeant.  He was veteran of the Vietnam War.  He was a member of Grandview Lodge #618 in Grandview, Mo.
	He was born Monday, September 14, 1931 in Marissa, the son of Frank W. and Florence (Holman) Miller.  He married Anncliesel H. Stopel on February 16, 1957 in Frankfurt, Germany and she preceded him in death on December 22, 1994.
	Surviving are his mother, Florence Miller of  Cutler; five brothers, Merle (Martha) Miller of Campbell Hill, Roy 'Jinx' (Jo) Miller of Cutler, Quenton (Yvonne) Miller of Cutler, Ronald (Tammy) Miller and Kenneth (Karen) Miller of Percy; four sisters, Wanda (Don) Snyder of Pittsfield, Patsy (Cork) Spann of Pittsfield, Sheryl (Jack) Hardy of Cutler and Lavonna (Roy) Conway of Cutler and several nieces and nephews.
	He was preceded in death by his father; one brother, Frank B. and one sister, Lavonne.
	Funeral services were held Monday, November 25 at 10 a.m. at Wilson's Funeral Home in Steeleville with Rev. Larry G. Revelle officiating.  Interment was in Bethel Cemetery at Swanwick.
	Friends called after 6 p.m. Sunday at Wilson's Funeral Home in Steeleville and on Monday from 7:30 a.m. until the hour of service.
